Life can be challenging at times. Experiences of change, loss and stressful situations can leave us feeling overwhelmed, anxious and confused. Perhaps your inner voice is telling you something feels a little off, it can be difficult to make sense of how we are feeling.
The pace of life and external pressures can lead to feeling that we are stuck in a cycle of unhelpful thinking and behaviours that we want to change but are unsure how to.
I offer a safe and confidential space to talk and explore these feelings, where I will listen without judgement. Supporting you to navigate change, gain understanding of your feelings, along with rebuilding a sense of self.
I am an Integrative Therapist which means I draw on several counselling methods to best suit your individual needs. I believe that the building of a trusting therapeutic relationship is key to growth and change. I feel passionately that everyone is deserving of feeling valued and heard, with compassion and empathy being at the core of my practice.
I work with adults and young people (11 years upwards) experiencing a range of issues including, anxiety, depression, low self-worth friendship/relationship difficulties, family dynamics, gender identity, bereavement and loss, trauma and abuse, self-harm, current and historic.
I have experience working in a secondary school and college giving me an insight into the crazy world and pressures our young people are navigating.
I believe early intervention is key in equipping young people to make their way through the journey of life, supporting them to be the best they can be.
I am a registered member of BACP and adhere to their code of ethics.

I offer a free initial session of 20 minutes either in person or over the telephone, we can talk about how counselling may be helpful, and I can share with you how I work. This gives us the opportunity to get to know each other a little and I can answer any questions you may have.
I offer in person sessions from my counselling room. For some people this is not possible, so I also offer sessions online using zoom or by telephone. I will require a meeting in person before offering sessions via telephone.
Each session lasts for 50 minutes and is charged at £55. Payable in cash or bank transfer on day of appointment.
It is beneficial for sessions to be weekly, however fortnightly and monthly sessions are available.
I kindly ask for 24 hours notice of any cancelation.
I offer short and long term counselling to suit your individual needs.
I offer a warm welcoming space with its own private entrance and onsite, off road, parking.
